Modjeska Canyon

A beautiful drive through an unincorporated Orange County, this short 2 mile road winds through a tree lined canyon in a small community. At the end of this road is Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary where you can learn about much of our local wildlife, you can also find a great hiking trail here called Harding Truck Trail which will connect you to Main Divide Road which you can take all the way up to Orange County's highest point, Santiago Peak, this hike takes you along the ridge and has great views. At 1.5 miles from Santiago Canyon Road, you will find a piece of local history tucked between the oak trees, The Helena Modjeska House.This is a residential road so please be respectful of residents by driving slowly and cautiously.
