Wildlife

Orange County is home to many native and migratory species, more than most people know. Orange County's wilderness areas and marshes play a vital role to the ecosystem. Some species have already been eliminated from it like brown and black bears but what we have left, we need to take care of as we share the land with the original inhabitants. The following animals are what we see in Orange County. While there are are many other animals that are not listed here, this list will be updated as each species is documented by Mark Girardeau who has taken all these photos.
