The rarest of the three species of rattlesnakes in Orange County, this species can most commonly be found in rocky terrain. Speckled Rattlers are the most docile and will only strike humans if they are absolutely threatened. Of course they are still dangerous and need to have their space. The colors of this species varies greatly depending on the specific area they're in. They can be found in many different colors to match the specific areas they live around.
