There are several great things about this park, mainly due to its location. It has an amazing view of inland south Orange County as well as the ocean and Catalina Island with just a short walk. It sits at one of the highest points in Laguna Beach and is not near any main roads so it's typically not very crowded. The playground is pretty creative and not your typical playground gym. The restrooms are surprisingly nice and clean for a public restroom.The grass here is very well maintained as well as the facilities. There are a couple picnic benches underneath gazebos. If you walk down a short trail, you'll find some more picnic tables with an amazing view and a peaceful setting offset from the park. The parking lot and park offers lots of shade from trees.
