Treasure Island

If you're looking for a unique beach that you can relax at without the big waves and a cool backdrop, this is your spot! Treasure Island gets its name from the large rock that sits right off the beach. This beach is pretty hidden as it is not visible from Pacific Coast Highway and lies below Montage Resort. There is only a very small parking lot here which is also not visible as you drive by so you'd need to seek this beach out to know it evens exists. Because of the limited parking here, this beach usually doesn't get too crowded.

Once you park, you'll need to walk about a 1/4 mile to get to the ramp which zig zags down to the beach and is handicapped accessible. There are 2 coves here at this beach and to access the second cove, you'll need to go through a cool but small cave. Because of the large rock that lies just beyond the beach here, the north end of the first beach is protected from waves and is usually a great place to float around on a floaty. There are restrooms here which are located near Montage Resort above the beach.
