The most visited beach in Orange County has lots to offer, a nice walk on the pier along with lots of local shops and restaurants. During summer months, lots of lifeguards are on hand which is great for taking your family. Parking along PCH and parking lots are all metered or pre-paid but if you can find a spot in the residential areas, you'll find free parking with no time limits.

Each year in August, the U.S. Open Of Surf takes place on the southside of the pier which is a huge event bringing in professional surfers from around the world. This event also features professional skateboarders, bmx riders, and motocross riders who perform on the structures set up on the sand.

Each year in October since 2016, the Pacific Air Show has taken place just south of the pier which brings in huge crowds to watch military and private jets buzz over the beach in incredible displays.
