Laguna Beach is known for its rocky shoreline but Aliso Beach features a nice stretch of sand! It also has easy access since you can park right next to the beach. This beach is staffed with lifeguards and has restrooms and a playground as well. Also, you can walk under the historic bridge to the other side of Pacific Coast Highway to access a large grassy area with tress offering shade. This beach used to have a pier until large winter storms in 1998 caused damage that was just too expensive to repair.
