Fires

Fires are a natural way up resetting the forest but unfortunately here in Southern California, fires have become a way too common occurrence and are almost always started by humans, not nature. That's where the problem comes in because there are now too many fires to maintain a natural forest ecosystem. The local wildlife depend on the flora to survive, camouflage, and nest in but we humans are slowly killing it all off and not allowing anything to grow back, other animals die directly in the fires as well. Here are some photos that show how dramatic these firefighting efforts are to save people, homes, and wild lands.
