Fin Whale

With a max length of just under 90 feet, the fin whale is the second largest animal to roam the earth and also occasionally visits our waters, these whales don't typically "show" themselves much as other whales and they are not known for breaching or showing their fluke on their dives. They can be recognized by their dorsal fin and smooth appearance. Also known as "the greyhounds of the sea" due to their torpedo like shape, they are capable of speeds up to 23 m.p.h. and can outrun whale watching vessels if they wanted to.
